On December 22, Tbilisi
Theological Academy and Seminary held an exhibition dedicated to
the 42nd anniversary of the Enthronement of the
Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
The exhibition was covered by the
Patriarchate TV channel “Ertsulovneba” and the Public Channel. The
Deputy Head of the Public Relations Office of TTAS, PhD of
Theology, Mr. Tsotne Chkheidze gave an interview on the event. He
mentioned that both the students and the teachers of TTAS
participated in it. The trends of Ecclesiastical Architecture,
Iconography, Restoration of Easel and Monumental Iconography were
represented at the exhibition; also, the TTAS workshops of
Iconography and Textile Design displayed their artworks. In
addition, the students presented works executed in various free
styles of art. Mr. Tsotne Chkheidze thanked the Youth Centre of the
Patriarchate for hosting the exhibition. Lastly, Mr. Tsotne
Chkheidze congratulated His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II,
Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia on the 42nd anniversary of his
enthronement.
