Assistant to the head of the
Department of Patristic and Dogmatics of Tbilisi Theological
Academy, PhD in Theology Irakli Orzhonia assessed Mr. Sulkhan
Zarandia's Master's Degree thesis as a work displaying a high level
of qualification. As he noted, the presented work is one of the old
Georgian manuscripts which the graduate copied and translated into
modern Georgian according to the modern linguistic norms. The
thesis gives analysis of the teachings of two great saints of the
Church – Basil the Great and John Chrysostom and it can be assessed
as one of the best examples Pastoral Theology.
