The head of the
newly-created Department of Ecclesiastical Law of Tbilisi
Theological Academy and Seminary, Archpriest Longinoz Suarishvili
noted that a new department has been created on the decision of the
Rector of this educational institution, Protopresbyter Giorgi
Zviadadze which is a truly remarkable event in the life of the
Academy. Canonical Law is one of the fundamental disciplines which
the doctrine of the Church and, in general, Christian life stand
on. With the establishment of the department advancement and study
of Ecclesiastical Law as a science will be promoted. Archpriest
Longinoz wished the students of Tbilisi Theological Academy and
Seminary a successful academic year.
