Today, on September 30, at 1:00
p.m., the Rector of Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary,
Protopresbyter Giorgi Zviadadze, offered an extensive memorial
service at Sioni Cathedral. He was assisted by the clergy of this
edcational institution. It was offered for the commemoration of the
souls of the deceased professors, teachers, students and the other
members of the staff. The professors, teachers and students of the
Theological academy and seminary, the family members of the
deceased and parishioners attended the service. The memorial
services have become a tradition in recent years. At the end of the
service, Protopresbyter Giorgi Zviadadze addressed the audience. He
once again mentioned the outstanding contribution of the deceased
employees to our school and to the entire nation and great
importance of such services.
