In the introductory part, the speaker noted the remarkable
success Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary has achieved
recently, and thanked the Rector, Protopresbyter Giorgi Zviadadze
for organizing the meeting (a few days ago, he gave an online
lecture to the students of the Academy and Seminary, as well).
“Today, we are not facing a lack of knowledge, but a lack of
knowledge transfer“, said Mr. Giorgi Khubua, and directed his
discussion towards the angle of the innovations that Germany is
implementing in the field of education.
As the speaker noted, at present, contemporary society is
experiencing deficit of spirituality and, therefore, it is
necessary to work in the direction of the didactics of religion, in
which Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary can have its
say.
In conclusion, the Rector of the educational institution,
Protopresbyter Giorgi Zviadadze thanked Mr. Giorgi Khubua for the
close collaboration he leads with the Academy and seminary,
congratulated the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, the
guest, the lecturers and entire Georgia on the coming feast
of Svetitskhovloba.
