The Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary is announcing a call for applications for participation in the Erasmus+ (KA171) International Credit Mobility Programme.
The announcement is open to academic and administrative staff for mobility at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece.
The mobility is planned for the autumn/winter semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, from 1 November 2026 to 29 January 2027, and includes opportunities for both teaching and professional development.
As a result of the process of selection, the Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary will select candidates and submit the results of the selection to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The final selection of nominated candidates is carried out by the host university in accordance with its own evaluation criteria and established procedures. The host university also determines the funding arrangements for the candidates.
The Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary may nominate:
• no more than 5 candidates for teaching purposes (Teaching Mobility);
• no more than 5 candidates for professional development / staff training purposes (Training Mobility).
Documents for Application
Applicants wishing to participate in the selection process must submit:
• an application for participation in the selection;
• a curriculum vitae (CV)
• a motivation letter (maximum one page), including information on the purpose of the mobility, a planned schedule of activities, and expected outcomes;
• a certificate/document confirming English language proficiency, or the results of a relevant level test administered by the TTAS;
• a brief description of academic, scientific, or administrative activities carried out over the past three years.
Criteria for Assessment
Applicants will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
•Professional and academic experience;
• Relevance of the purpose of mobility to the candidate’s current activities;
• Potential for developing international cooperation;
•Ability to share the acquired experience with the academic community;
•Level of English language proficiency (B2).
Timeline for Internal Competition
•The deadline for submitting applications to the TTAS is July 5, 2026;
•Review of applications by the selection committee – July 10, 2026;
•Announcement of results – July 14, 2026;
• Nominations of selected candidates will be sent to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki by July 23, 2026.
Important information regarding the host university’s internal procedures:
Candidates nominated through the TTAS selection process and submitted to the host university will be required, in the next stage, to prepare the necessary documentation. Instructions for completing the required forms will be sent to them by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. These documents include:
•Agreement on Mobility;
•Letter of Support from the host faculty or academic unit, issued by the relevant school/faculty representative of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki;
•Any other documents required by the host university.

It should be noted that obtaining the Letter of Support from the host university is the responsibility of the nominated candidate and is also a mandatory prerequisite for submitting an application to the host institution.
