Off-site Lecture

On May 29, the lecture courses for the current academic year at the Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary came to an end. The Head of the Department of Georgian History, Professor Sergo Vardosanidze, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Theology, delivered the final lecture of the Georgian History course for the first-year students of the Faculty of Seminary at the Memorial of 300 Aragvians in Ortachala.

The lecture focused on the tragic events of the late 18th century in Georgia, in particular the Battle of Krtsanisi, during which the Aragvians heroically fell.

Professor Sergo Vardosanidze often conducts such off-site lectures, which contribute to broadening students’ perspectives and enhancing their level of knowledge. Once again, he spoke about this difficult period in our country’s history with his usual professionalism and academic rigor.
