Professor Bogdan-Vladut Brynza’s Visit Has Ended

On April 29, the lecturer, Professor, Priest Bogdan-Vladut Brynza of the Faculty of Theology in Alexander Ioan Cuza University in the Romanian city of Iasi (Iasi) started his visit to Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary. On the same day, the guest met with the Rector of Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary, Doctor of Theology, Philology and Political Sciences, Protopresbyter Giorgi Zviadadze, and the professors and teachers of this institution. The Rector of the academy spoke about the historical, cultural and scientific ties between Georgia and Romania and expressed his deep respect for the Holy Orthodox Church of Romania.

Bogdan-Vladut Brynza gave three lectures to the students of the Academy. The topics of his lectures were: “The Holy Sacrifice and the Transformation of Man according to St. Maximus the Confessor”, “The Concept of Love in the Modern World” and “Ecological Crisis and Human Crisis”. The lectures aroused great interest and the discussion, which followed such topical issues, lasted longer than they had been planned. Father Bogdan answered the students’ questions in depth.

Organized by Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary, Professor Bogdan-Vladut Brynza visited Korneli Kekelidze National Manuscript Center and the Gold Fund of the National Museum of Georgia. In addition, an excursion to Old Tbilisi and Mtskheta was organized, which allowed the guest to better understand the culture of our country. Father Bogdan visited the significant relics of the Mtskheta and Tbilisi Diocese.

Priest Bogdan-Vladut Brynza was also invited to the TV Chanel of the Patriarchate of Georgia “Ertsulovneba”, for an interview in the program “Morning of Unity”. The Romanian professor spoke about the importance of his working visit to Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary.

The visit of the Doctor of Theology, Priest Bogdan-Vladut Brynza, which was organized within the framework of the Erasmus + Exchange Program, has ended today.
