The head of the
Department of History of the Church and Ascetics, PhD of Theology,
Archpriest Maxim Chanturia noted that the guest of the Orthodox
Church of Georgia, His Eminence Hierotheos, Metropolitan of
Nafpaktos and Agios Vlasios is the well-known Theologian and author
of dozens of scientific works, three of which are translated into
Georgian and published by the Publishing House “New Iviron”.
The Georgian readers are familiar with and love Metropolitan
Hierotheos’ works – “An Orthodox Psychotherapy” and “A Science of
Spiritual Medicine”. They also love their author and have been
prepared for his third visit to Georgia. We, the teachers of the
Theological Academy and publishers of Metropolitan Hierotheos’
books, consider his visit to our Church an event of paramount
importance.
