On February 16, a promotional and informational meeting was organized by the Public Relations and Strategic Communications Service of the Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary with students of the schools in the Samtredia and Khoni Diocese.
Participants in the informational meeting:
Rati Sturua – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of TSAS, PhD in Theology;
Sergo Vardosanidze – Head of the Department of Georgian History, PhD in History and Theology; Professor;
Grigol Khachapuridze – Dean of the Faculty of Christian Psychology, PhD in History;
Durmishkhan Lashkhi – Head of the Quality Assurance Service, PhD in History;
Archpriest Shalva Kekelia – Spiritual Father of the Academy and Seminary.
The meetings, held at the Samtredia Youth Center and the Khoni Music School, were conducted in a very warm atmosphere. Students from the schools in the municipalities of Khoni and Samtredia received comprehensive and thorough information from the representatives of the Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary about the faculties, departments, and educational programs operating at the Academy and Seminary. They also became acquainted with student life and activities, as well as their academic and creative achievements.
The informational meetings in these two municipalities were held with the blessing of Metropolitan Saba (Gigiberia) of the Khoni and Samtredia Diocese. The Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary received assistance in the preparation and organization of the meetings from Kristine Zakradze, choreographer of the Samtredia Youth Center.
