On June 28, the Dean of the Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary, Priest Giorgi Vashalomidze celebrated a Holy Liturgy in the Patriarchal Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli. Concelebrating with him were Hieromonk Abel (Bogveradze), Priest Giorgi (Bukniashvili), Hieromonk Raphael (Chachanidze) and Priest Theodore Rubashvili. The Choir of the Seminary under the direction of Lasha Zaalishvili participated by performing hymns.
For the second time, the Holy Liturgy was celebrated jointly by the Dean and the students of the Faculty of Seminary at the conclusion of the academic year. It is their wish that this event be established as a tradition. With this celebration, the Dean and the students of the Theological Seminary offer their gratitude to God for the past academic year and pray for the continuation of their studies.
Particularly significant is the farewell with the graduates. The Dean and the students bless them as they embark on their life’s journey, expressing hope that they will enter the service of the Church with steadfastness and an unwavering spirit.
