Initiated and funded by Tbilisi City Hall and the City Council, the Tbilisi Children’s and Youth Folklore Ensembles Festival was held over two days at the Tbilisi State Conservatory.
On June 21, the Choir of the Tbilisi Theological Academy participated in the concluding event of the festival.
The director of the choir, Lekso Gremelashvili, stated: “It is with great joy that we inform you that the Academy Choir has been awarded the jury’s honorary prize for its contribution to the popularization of traditional music.”
