The goal of the Department of
Biblical Studies is to provide the teaching of theological sciences
on the basis of the Holy Bible including all specialties and
trends. In addition to the Old and the New Testaments, the Academy
provides teachings of its exegetics, Old Georgian translations of
the Bible, Biblical Archeology. All the above mentioned prepares
firm grounds for making Tbilisi Academy and Seminary an advanced
and highly important educational center in the Orthodox
world.
